Gymnasium and Sports Facilities

The college has a playground and a well-equipped gymnasium and Badminton building. The ground has been developed for the outdoor games viz., cricket, kho-kho, kabbadi, volleyball, basketball, football etc. In addition to this, indoor games like table tennis, badminton are also played in the gymnasium and badminton building.

The sport teacher helps & encourage students to participate in various games. Participating students develop physical fitness and their ability through the sports. Sports and related events to be conducted during academic year are finalized in the month of June at University level with detailed schedule inclusive of dates and places. Notice about the games is displayed and brought to the notice of the students. The list of participating students is prepared and daily practice is conducted. In certain events, if required, special coaching to the students is given. Warm up exercises are taken before practice begins. During events, ground facilities are monitored daily. Selection of students for the event is done. Then students along with team manager participate in the Inter collegiate sports. The students selected from this college for inter university games are sent to MPKV, Rahuri for further selection and participation in the events.

In College Gymkhana hall, gymnasium facilities are open for boys as well as girl students daily in the morning and evening session. The gymnasium set instruments are periodically examined. The necessary material for sports is provided to the required students.
