Training
Total 31 trainings conducted (From 1998 to 2022). Total number of faculties trained from SAU’s and ICAR Institutes is 595 (From 1998 to 2022)
21 days National level training programme on Agril. Meteorology sponsored is ICAR under CAFT is organized every year by Department for 25 faculties of SAU’s and ICAR Institutes.
Schemes :
- Gramin Krishi Mousam Seva (GKMS) :Under the project Agro Advisories on plant protection,crop management and animal husbandry etc.are disseminated on every Tuesday and Friday. The Scheme is funded by Ministry of Earth Science,Government of India, New Delhi.
- Forecasting Agricultural output using space Agrometerology and Land based observations (FASAL) :Under the scheme the yield forecasts is given for cotton,sugarcane,soybean,rabi onion,rabi sorghum and gram crops for F2 ( Mid season) and F3(Pre harvest) generation. The scheme is funded by Ministry of Earth Science, Government of India, New Delhi.
