Mrs. Vaishali Baliram Khedkar, deputed as Pay and Accounts Officer at College of Agriculture, Pune under Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth Rahuri since 2023.
She has completed under graduate degree B.Sc. (Agri) from College of Agriculture, Baramati and selected as an Accounts Officer during 2011. She had been posted as Senior Auditor, Higher Education Department under Kolhapur Region during the period 2012-2015. She also served as an Accounts Officer at Water & Sanitation Mission, Zilha Parishad , Ahmednagar during 2015-2019 and at Internal Audit Department, Collector Office, Ahmednagar during 2019-2023.
Duties to be performed as a Pay and Accounts Officer
- To centralize payment by drawal of cheques on the line of the Treasury system.
- To have a watch on financial transaction of the University and to make every payment after due audit checks by the Comptroller or the Assistant Comptroller designated by him.
- To ensure budgetary control and financial discipline.
- To maintain the uniformity in admitting and passing the claims against the University.
- To compile the monthly receipts and payments accounts to facilitate timely submission of final Annual Accounts to Government.
